Sass and Bide 2010 Spring/Summer

Unlike for instance... a Prada boutique, i dont usually go crazy once i enter my local Sass and Bide boutique. Although the clothes etc. are edgy and different and they are to my taste all the pieces are quite repeditive, dont get me wrong i love Sass and Bide with thier quirkiness and there is always a certain piece i dream a bit of for a while. But many of their styles of clothing have something linked to the collection before the present and sometimes it gets slightly boring. Although this may be their style in designing but the same old beading, studds, chain, fringing and bold outlines occur in nearly all their collections. I would love it if the designers could try something new and go way out their comfort zone because when that occurs attention is going to be compelled to there label.

Alexander has a creative mind always releasing fresh and stunning ideas, in every collection he has released a bold new view for his label. In his latest collection there are many bold angles in his coats and shoes. With many exaggerated blouses and simple clutches there are many layers of simple in colour and style but cleverly cut under layers. There are many authentic patterns over laying each of his pieces. Since viewing this gorgeous collection with neutral colours and many bold cuts my adoration for his collection has only expanded.

With their latest collection Doilies and Pearls, Oysters and Shells, they have gone past Haute Coutures limits and have created a whole new individual style, from huge over done bright fluffy wool to light close to transparent cotton. Alexander McQueen's Plato's Atlantis Spring/Summer 2010

Each and every one of Alexander McQueens collections have always captivated my interest with his originality and unique style. What i find amazing about each of his collections is that every single tiny detail that is included on each of his pieces is the deep thought and individuality of them all. All his collections as well as his shows are always so... new. Alexander has never failed to think outside the square and amaze me with his outstanding talents but this years collection has truly stunned me. With scale patterned dresses and curvy fish look alike shoes his latest collection has earned my adoration and you would be mad for it not to earn yours.

Marc Jacobs 2010 Spring/Summer collection

Marc Jacob's latest collection contains many extravagant frills and ruffles as well as neutral pastel shades and over the top metallic materials colouring each of the pieces. On top of the many layers of frills there were many simple 'balmacaans' to be seen. Many of the outfits were concluded with sandals and thongs.The collection was completely original as well as giving one a fresh sense of Spring and Summer.
